Hello!

I’m a Designer, Mentor and Project Manager currently based in Glasgow, Scotland, with a keen interest in user centred design, strategic planning and innovation.

I’m currently contracting for two sports and wellness companies and I also work as a freelance Pilates instructor. I’m currently contracting for two sports and wellness companies, leading product development, supplier management and supporting with strategic planning for future product releases. I also work as a freelance Pilates instructor. Prior to this, I led product development at a healthcare start-up as part of the executive team. This role involved everything from the end-to-end development of products and packaging, to sourcing and vetting suppliers, to managing an international, cross-functional team. I was responsible for ensuring products launched on time and within budget. This role was not without its challenges but I thrive under pressure and enjoy thinking outside the box to solve problems. My knowledge of design thinking is hugely beneficial when overcoming issues and allows me to see projects holistically, ensuring I prioritise critical tasks to prevent delays.

Prior to Suji, I spent four years working at a design consultancy where I had the opportunity to work on a vast range of projects across different sectors. This experience has equipped me with the knowledge to tackle any project that comes my way. This role involved working closely with clients and manufacturers; something I always enjoy!

Recently, I’ve been volunteering with Remap, as Case Manager and an Engineer - using my design skills to create custom solutions that help to improve the lives of disabled people and organising incoming project requests. I also mentor final year design students.

I have been fascinated by design since a young age, and have always enjoyed drawing, making, and figuring out problems. My hobbies today include hill walking, pilates, yoga, painting, DIY, pottery, and jewellery making. I’m a passionate cook and am always experimenting with new recipes. I also like to travel when I can, whether that be to the nearest hill or further afield - I’m currently trying to tick off as many Munro’s as possible! At university, I spent a summer working as an intern at a design studio in Barcelona.

This website shows a selection of my work. I hope you enjoy it and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
