I recently qualified as a Level 3 Mat Pilates instructor and teach group and individual classes in the West End of Glasgow. I am currently working towards my Level 4 and Reformer qualifications.

October 2021 - January 2025.
Member of the Executive Team, leading hardware design and project managing a product launch.
Led product development and managed the design and launch of a Class 1 medical device. Accountable for the entire design process from - from initial research, development and testing, to refinement, packaging design, and transfer to manufacture.
Responsible for vetting and sourcing international manufacturers, developing very close working relationships with them.
Managed an international, cross-functional team, collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the development process.
Facilitated user research sessions to gather insights for future product enhancements and developed product roadmaps.

Led multiple end-to-end design projects, from research to production.
Worked across a diverse range of sectors, managing multiple projects simultaneously.

This was a short internship at a start up company in Glasgow. I worked closely with the MD during this time.
My role involved product development, prototyping and supplier engagement to push the design towards manufacture.

November 2016 - May 2017
In my final year at university I was part of a team carrying out an R&D project for NCR.
The project required a significant amount of research into the technology and materials surrounding ATMs as well as design thinking to create a range of recommendations for future ATM design based on our findings.
Design Intern: Hiroshi Tsunoda Design Studio, Barcelona
June - September 2016
After my fourth year, I worked as an intern for a small design studio in Barcelona, Spain.
My role was focused on the early stages of the design process, so I primarily worked on CAD, and rough prototyping (making paper and card models) as well as some graphic design work.
Working abroad in a fast paced environment was a great experience and really improved my design skills.

This role allowed me to develop my design and research skills in an industrial setting for the first time. I also had the opportunity to help develop an agile design process during the internship.
